Q: How long will it take for my business ADSL to be installed?
A: If ADSL is available at your location, it will be installed within approximately 7 to 10 business days from the date of order entry and within 20 business days from the receipt date of the order.
Q: What special hardware do I need?
A: An Ethernet card must be installed on each computer to be connected to your ADSL. Most newer computers already have this installed. These cost about $20 each, and are easily installed; we'll provide phone support for the first installation. Additionally, you will need an ADSL modem. These are available at HawaiianTel for $99.99. .
Q: Are there any setup fees?
A: HITS.net does not charge either setup or early termination fees. However, HawaiianTel, which activates ADSL services, charges a setup fee of $60. HawaiianTel also charges a monthly fee of $37.50, which is separate from monthly HITS charges.
Q: Does HITS.net require a contract or minimum commitment for ADSL service?
A: No. HawaiianTel requires a minimum commitment of one year for its ADSL business customers, but HITS.NET has no minimum commitment.
Q: How will I be billed for HITS.NET or partner ISP services?
A: Billing for all our partner domains including, Aloha808.net, AlohaDialup.net, Hawaiidialup.net, HITS.net, KauaiDialup.net, HITS.NET, MauiWeb.net, OahuDialup.net, and PacificDialup.net are serviced via One Net, Inc. You'll be billed monthly via snail-mail, or we can setup auto-payment against a credit card account. Just let us know which you prefer.
